| SHOW TITLES and "LEGS" |
Halter points are earned according to how many animals are beaten at any particular time. To earn a Championship (HCh), a llama must earn 15 points and at least three Grand Championships. Fleece and Costume points are awarded according to the scores given by the judge. Fleece Championships (FCh) and Costume Championships (CCh) require 15 points. Performance shows come in three areas: Obstacle (OL1, OL2, OL3), Pack (PL1, PL2, PL3), and Driving (DL1, DL2, DL3). Each of these areas comes in three levels, Level One, Level Two, and... you guessed it! Level Three! Each Level of each area must be correctly performed (earning a minimum of 70/100 and at least 50% of the points in each exercise) to earn a "leg". To complete the list of threes, a llama requires three legs in order to earn a title - that is, three Obstacle Level One legs earns the OL1 title and qualifies the llama to move up to Obstacle Level Two competition (this is true except for Driving Level One, which only requires one leg). Level 3 in any sport gives a Championship (e.g. Obstacle Champion), and Level 3 in two sports give a Supreme Performance Champion. Award Of Merit (AoM): involves earning 15 points at shows. Fleece, Halter, Costume, and Performance points are combined. |
