Soft, warm, lustrous,
and beautiful - knit or crochet this wonderful yarn into sweaters,
blankets, mitts, throws... it's limited only by your imagination.
These colours are strictly natural and are therefore limited by
the colours of animals we have available each year.
We sort our
fibre into different batches based on quality. We define the batches
like this: "eeuuwww" - that's fibre from a couple of the
older ladies, and we use this fibre for mulch around our trees.
Then there's "Socks! Definitely socks!" This fibre is
nice, but has guard hairs in it. The guard hairs give good wearability,
but you'd want them on your feet, not on your face. Two more grades
- "Oooh, this is lovely!" is used for yarn, and "Wow!"
is used for yarn too. "Wow" grade is so nice it's difficult
to even feel it between your fingers! Because llama fibre grows,
like your own hair, without lanolin, there are no harsh chemicals
necessary to clean it, so washing leaves it delightfully soft and
allergen-free.
All yarn is
sold in 100-gram skeins, 600 yards-per-pound, 3 ply.
