a hand with a monthly Herd Day – hands-on learning!

We'll
have our booth, fibre products, information, and videos there.
Have your picture taken with the kissing llamas, try your
hand at spinning, or just sit down out of the sun and relax
for a while!
2009
was lots of fun. We took the Llads for the first time - Rapid
Fire, Castaway, and young Harlequin. Big ol' Rapid Fire alternated
between watching all the strange-looking people walking by,
and meditating - staring off into the distance and convincing
everyone he was really a statue of a llama.
Madrid,
Perdrix and Jasper demonstrated their spiffy new dorsal-hitch
cart harnesses, and Sue once again got beard burn from all
the kissing Madrid was doing.

again, Dragonfly Farm will be joined by the Humane Society's
day campers, learning about llamas, dogs, and clicker training. |
